I want to have a drawing made. How does that work?

1. Contact Gunter Aerts. Describe your question or expectation.
2. Gunter Aerts will contact you to clarify your question and obtain additional information.
3. You will receive a quote so that you know in advance what the work will cost.
4. Gunter Aerts will get to work and will send you ideas, sketches or proposals. You can give comments until you are satisfied.
5. If it is clear how the drawing should be worked out, then Gunter Aerts will finish it. At that time you may already be asked to pay an advance. Certainly for extensive works.
6. The work, the drawing, will be sent to you according to the specifications of the quotation.
7. You receive an invoice and make the payment.

 

How much does a drawing cost?

The cost is a composition of the manufacturing price and price of the right of use. The manufacturing price is based on the working time required to make a drawing. That will vary depending on the size and complexity of the requested work. The fixed costs and the material costs are also included in this. The right of use is the license that Gunter Aerts gives you to use the work for the requested purposes. It is always possible to contact us and request a free quote for a specific drawing work.

 

Which drawings or styles can I request to have made?

Everything is possible :-) If it's not possible for Gunter Aerts to draw or design what you ask for, he will kindly inform you. So contact us and submit your question or wish. In the past he already made drawings that were used for: books, cartoons, comics, leaflets, flyers, posters, magazines, greeting cards, invitations, birth announcements, websites, board games, logos, icons, educational projects, caricatures, portraits, coloring pages, T -shirts, clothing, record covers, puzzles, ...

 

Where can Gunter Aerts deliver work?

The work is delivered digitally. So it's possible to order and deliver worldwide. Belgium, the Netherlands, Europe, UK, US or beyond, feel free to ask what is possible and make contact.

 

Can I use a drawing of Gunter Aerts that I have seen (online or somewhere else)?

No, that is not allowed. The copyright of the work remains with Gunter Aerts and may not be used without written permission. You can always contact us to discuss that. Others who have paid for the right to use a work can use the drawing for the purpose that they have discussed with the maker. It would therefore not be fair for others to be able to use that work just like that. The right of use does not include exclusivity, unless this has been requested and discussed. The drawing may also not be used for applications or context that are contrary to the deontology of Gunter Aerts and/or damage the image and integrity of the maker.

 

Can I change, supplement or adjust a Gunter Aerts drawing?

No, that is not allowed according to personality law. The work may not be changed or modified without written permission from the maker. Gunter Aerts will also state his name or signature with his work. That may also not be removed without permission.

 

Are my personal details secure?

Yes! Gunter Aerts acts in accordance to the GDPR. The personal data received (name, address, e-mail and any other personal data - such as photos - that are received following the creation of a specific work) will not be made public by Gunter Aerts or passed on to third parties without permission. The personal data will only be stored in the context of correct accounting and a personal customer base.
